Growing our team, we are currently looking for a freelance experienced SEO Copywriter to work with us remotely in EST time zone (NY).

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced SEO Copywriter with a proven history of producing high-quality work. Prior experience writing SEO-friendly, web-based content is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Rewrite and optimize existing web content for our studio to increase its organic search visibility
Write new website content (landing pages, blog posts, case studies, infographics, etc.)
Maintain service and product messaging standards
Update existing sales and marketing assets as requested
Write Email, Ad, and Social Media copy as requested
Write compelling, error-free content that satisfies the information needs of target audiences
Adhere to strict quality standards for all copy produced
Work closely with the founder to understand our goals
Research on industry trends, terminology, and competitive landscape to demonstrate subject-matter expertise in your writing
Collaborate with our team on copy, as needed

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in English, Creative Writing, Journalism, Communications, or a related field
3+5 years of SEO copywriting experience, preferably writing web content. Agency experience is highly preferred
Excellent written English is a must (including outstanding grammar skills and attention to detail).
Excellent written Greek is also preferred (including outstanding grammar skills and attention to detail).
Strong understanding of how to write effective marketing copy for the web
A strong copywriting portfolio that includes email copy, web pages, sales letters, etc
Adaptable writing style for different demographics
Research and fact-check thoroughly to ensure accuracy and effectiveness
Ensure the copy meets all language, structure, tone, and informational requirements
Exceptional grammar, research, fact-checking, writing, and editing skills
Extreme attention to detail with respect to writing accuracy, grammatical correctness, etc., and no tolerance for errors
Collaborate with the visuals selection process for every copy to drive user experience
Advanced knowledge of SEO and copywriting strategies
Self-motivated with good time management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines
Experience with writing and content management tools
The ability to write persuasive copy
SEO copywriting experience is preferred
Familiarity with marketing best practices is a plus
Availability in the EST time zone (NY) is a must.
